Snow observed on November 14, 2025 brought snow depths in Chisholm and North Bay above normal levels, though Corbeil remained snow-free. Today’s snow survey measurements show a snow depth increase of 9.0 cm, and snow water equivalence increase of 10 mm, reports the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) who measures snow depth and water content as part of its Flood Forecasting and Warning Program.
“The fresh snowfall has a combined average snow depth of 12.5 cm and water equivalence of 18.0 mm at the three snow course locations”, said Angela Mills, NBMCA Water Resources Specialist. “This is normal for early December”.
