Flood Outlook Statement Issued Today

March 31, 2023

Colorado low pressure system is moving through the province today and tomorrow, bringing snow, freezing rain, ice pellets, and rain to the North Bay – Mattawa region.  Accumulations of up to 15 cm of snow and 15 mm of rain are expected between this evening and throughout Saturday, prompting the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority to issue a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook.

Development Around Wetlands and Watercourses Focus of NBMCA Conferences

Caution on Parks Creek as Ice Removal begins March 20

(North Bay, March 16, 2023)   The annual ice removal on Parks Creek near Lakeshore Drive is set to begin Monday, March 20 and the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority is urging the public and snowmobilers to stay off the creek and away from the mouth of the creek on Lake Nipissing.
