Eau Claire Gorge Conservation Area will be starring in the upcoming movie “Lakewood”. The conservation area will be closed to the public on September 18, 21, 22, and 23 while filming takes place.
MoreWALKWAY DETOUR AT 15 JANEY AVE., NORTH BAY
A new walkway from the front entrance at 15 Janey Ave to the rear of the building is being built this week. Work begins today and should be finished by the end of the week. An alternative pathway is available during construction.

The washroom at Eau Claire Gorge is now open and sanitized twice daily (approx 6 am and 4 pm) Washrooms at Mattawa Island and Elks Beach are closed. The public is asked to practise physical distancing, maintaining a distance of 2 meters from other family/household groups on the trails.

The trails in the Corbeil Conservation Area may be impacted by rain forecast this weekend. Water in the area is high, and the ground saturated. Use caution and avoid trails which may become flooded.
