(North Bay June 26, 2019 – 5 pm) Today the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) downgraded the Flood Watch for the North Bay and Callander shorelines of Lake Nipissing to a Water Safety Statement and renewed the Water Safety Statement for the Mattawa River below the Hurdman Dam.
More(North Bay June 19, 2019 – 3 pm) Water levels on Lake Nipissing have lowered enough for the Flood Warning to be downgraded to a Flood Watch and the Parks Creek Backflood Control Structure to be shut down today by the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority. The Flood Warning for Lake Nipissing had been in place since April 25, 2019.
MoreA Flood Watch has been put in place for the lower Mattawa River below the Hurdman Dam due to precipitation and increased flow from upper reservoirs.
The Flood Warning remains in effect for Lake Nipissing and all other water courses remain as Water Condition Statement - Water Safety.

More(North Bay June 11, 2019 – 1:15 pm) The rain that has fallen has caused a rise in local water levels, and there’s more to rain to come this week, prompting the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority to extend the flood warning for the North Bay and Callander shoreline of Lake Nipissing to Friday, June 14.

More(North Bay June 3, 2019 – 2 pm) The Flood Warning has been continued for Lake Nipissing. For areas other than Lake Nipissing within the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority area, including the Ottawa River at the Town of Mattawa, the Flood Warning is now terminated, and a Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety remains in effect due to high water levels.
