(March 25, 2019) Snow survey readings confirm that the snow is gradually melting. Snow depth and water equivalence has slightly decreased since the snow pack measurements taken on March 14.

Parks Creek Ice Removal Begins Thursday

(March 19, 2019) The annual ice removal off Parks Creek near Lakeshore Drive is set to begin Thursday, March 21 and the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority is urging the public and snowmobilers to stay off the creek and away from the mouth of the creek on Lake Nipissing.

(March 15, 2019) Snow depth remains about twice the long-term average for this time of year and water equivalence is about 60 per cent above the long-term average.  NBMCA measures the snow pack in three subwatersheds as part of our Flood Forecasting Program.
