Recent snow and warm temperatures have compacted the snowpack. Snow depth decreased by 1.1 cm and snow water equivalence increased by 34.0 mm since February 14, reports the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority who measures snow depth and water content as part of its Flood Forecasting and Warning Program.
