The Elks Lodge Family Park is a small 1-acre day-use park on the southern shore of Trout Lake. Situated on Hwy 17 its picnic tables and beach (unsupervised) provide a welcome respite from highway travelling. It is located directly across the highway from the historic La Vase Portages Conservation Area.

It hosts a small monument commemorating the arrival of Samuel de Champlain and the designation of Trout Lake and Brandy Lake, across the highway, as part of the Canadian Heritage River System.
